& Your Church
—How Does It Work?
Laban Ministries is the mission organization that Todd Smith’s (of Selah) parents (Jim & Nancy Smith) founded in 1978. He grew up in Congo and continues to support the ongoing work today. He, along with Selah members, Amy Perry & Allan Hall, have graciously partnered with us to help raise awareness of our work there. As a result, Selah is able to deliver a great concert to churches in a very cost-effective manner.
“we wanted to create a format that would be a win-win for everyone”
—What Does It Mean for Your Church?
We hope this process is as streamlined and refreshing as possible for churches. We have volunteers standing by who would be delighted to assist if there are any questions you might have. If you can help cover some transportation expenses for Selah, provide some volunteers, and fill out our survey, there’s a good chance we can make it happen! Once the survey is filled out, you’ll be contacted and the booking process will begin. We try hard to keep things simple so you should have an answer relatively soon once the survey is submitted.
—How Does It Benefit Laban Ministries?
These concerts are not intended primarily for fund-raising. We simply desire to share our work in Africa and give others the opportunity to join us in prayer and service. Those attending will hear a short presentation about our ministry and then have the opportunity to join our Serve and Prayer teams or purchase some African livestock. We want everyone leaving feeling refreshed and encouraged at what God is doing around the world!
If you’re interested, please look through this entire page. Feel free to write down questions, discuss it with your church leadership, and then when you’re ready, take the opportunity to fill out the survey. There’s no rush, but availability is limited. We look forward to potentially partnering with you and can’t wait to share a night of inspiring worship and praise with you soon!
